It's the encoding on the transmitter side that is adding the significant lag

Can you show me a step by step video on how to Calibrate this new Phantom. It's my first DJI Phantom product. I've own 2 3DR quadcopter's, and they don't require their quads to be calibrated with a funky dance.. Please advise.. thanks heaps

Its important we differentiate between normal processing lag and the lag issue that users are reporting where the screen pauses/stutters especially on Android Devices.

While the less lag the better obviously, I think this is fine for a camera ship. It's not like someone's flying this like an FPV Racer (I hope)

That why too much lag. By the time you react, you will have already hit a tree or the side of a building... Not Good!

my p3a lags about 4-6 seconds.. a lot worse than this...
how should i fix this? tried different phone, ipad etc... the same. it used to work normally
now i cant fly at all

I had this same issue, with Drone Turn on you need remove cable of camera and plug again

I wonder if the amount of lag is determined by the distance of the quad? I hope someone is a able to test this theory. It will be a sad day for Dji if someone crashed their drone into a tree a mile away from their location due to lag. HD real-time video feed ha ha ha :-) we shall see.

There should still be no lag at all on a 1k quad. Especialy when thats one of dji's selling points on this quad

I have the phantom 3 professional and I'm having the same lag problems with the iphone 5s.
