होर्मुज जलडमरूमध्य:-
इसे ओरमुज जलडमरूमध्य के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। यह फ़ारस की खाड़ी को ओमान की खाड़ी और अरब सागर से जोड़ता है।
यह जलडमरूमध्य 55 से 95 किमी. तक चौड़ा है और ईरान को अरब प्रायद्वीप से अलग करता है।
इसमें प्रमुख रूप से कीश्म, होर्मुज और हेंजम (हेंग्म) द्वीप स्थित हैं।
सऊदी अरब, ईरान, यू.ए.ई., कुवैत और इराक से निर्यात किये जाने वाले अधिकांश कच्चे तेल को इसी जलमार्ग के माध्यम से भेजा जाता है।
