Meaning of THANKS AGAIN - A Really Short English Lesson with Subtitles

READ ALONG TO PRACTICE YOUR ENGLISH AND TO LEARN THE MEANING OF THANKS AGAIN: So thanks again for watching these videos. I'm sure in English you already know how to say "thank you" or "thank you very much" but it's customary in English to thank someone again if they give you something really, really nice or if they do something really nice for you. So let's imagine that your sister gave you a really, really nice gift for Christmas. When you get the gift you would say, "Thank you so much this gift is awesome! You are awesome!" But when you see you sister again a few weeks later it would be very nice to say, "Thanks again!" You would say, "Thanks again for the gift that you gave me at Christmas. It really meant a lot to me." So to thank someone and then to thank them again is just very polite in English. Have a great day!
