Josh Mitchnick was born on a boat and has spent the rest of his life in trees - it'd seem he knows a thing or two about balance. After his very first Onewheel ride Josh was dropping philosophical nuggets the likes of which we'd never heard. That's when we knew we needed to know more about this stoke master, tree sensei. In this Onewheel Presents we go for a climb with Josh and learn how his time as a professional arborist has shaped his perspective on life, pushing the limits and riding Onewheel.

Fellow Onewheeler and arborist here. It’s hard to explain but they really do weirdly seem to go hand in hand. I think it’s possibly the lifestyle of chasing fun and adrenaline, not being scared of the “what if’s” that come with doing anything risky. Life is extremely short, so I’d rather spend it doing really fun stuff. Also, I’ve never brought my onewheel onto the job before (mostly out of fear of a tree falling on it), but I’m heavily considering it after watching this video. Would make lugging all our gear back and forth from the truck a lot more fun lol.
