The Natural History Museum has unveiled a significant outdoor green space dedicated to urban nature, scientific research, and education. This new area features a stunning bronze diplodocus dinosaur statue. Spanning five acres around the museum in Kensington, west London, the space includes the Nature Discovery Garden and the Evolution Garden, narrating the story of our evolving natural world. Open to the public for free, these gardens will also serve as a hub for studying urban nature, monitoring its changes, and exploring ways to support its recovery.
