Local Artists Honor Frontline Health Care Workers

The Pretentious Portrait Artists of Cleveland decided to honor – and thank – frontline health care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Before the virus hit, the portrait drawing group met every Friday night to sketch or paint a volunteer from the public. The artists still meet every week – virtually. Timothy Herron, who started the group in 2005, said he wanted to give staff members the artwork to help them remember their bravery during these tough times.
