Maven is one of those great secrets that is getting out! I was in the CO backcountry a few years ago and ran into a guy using a pair of their binos, they were the best I'd ever looked through, as well as a scope. Now I have one of their spotting scopes and 3 rifle scopes, the quality is outstanding as mentioned but the CS is as well. Had an RS.2 that I couldn't get to focus perfectly, they replaced it with no hassles or questions. Hope you get a chance to review the RS.1 soon, it's my favorite scope as it is not too heavy for the backcountry yet has stunning optics.

They certainly have an interesting product lineup. I've never owned or handled one, but I'd be interested to check one out just to see that glass quality.

Love your videos man! Great content for whoever watches! I need your advice though, looking at getting 300 PRC mountain rifle and would you suggest the Maven RS.3 5-30x50 or the GPOTAC 8x 2.5-20x50i? Is there any noticeable difference in glass quality? Or are there any others you would suggest in the sub 28oz weight range with great glass quality and sub $2k price range?

I would like to see the full spectrum of the Cyclops glass rating scale. Does it start at "lower than whale shit" up past corn shit then dog shit to mediocre shit, not bad shit all the way up to the good shit? I googled it and that ruined the rest of my day! Another great review Joe!
