Winter Solarium

The cold weather is upon us and it's time to construct our winter solarium. Once the frame is up, we'll add construction plastic to the outside. When the sun is shining, we'll open up the window into the house and bring in all the hot air to supplement our heating. This passive solar, inexpensive heating will generate between 38,400 - 57,600 BTUs every hour while the sun is shining!!
