I'm saying this as a Knicks fan. Lots of commentators on ESPN and FOX Sports saying that Brunson should be All-Star starter. Not that I care who starts in an exhibition game, but regardless, Donovan is having a slightly better season than Brunson so far, because:

1) Cleveland and NY having almost the same record,
2) Donovan is the only star carrying his team, while Brunson has a better supporting cast, has Randle to take pressure off him, and has a better coach,
3) Mitchell and Brunson's stats are relatively close.

What Mitchell has done this season in Cleveland so far is slightly more impressive than what Brunson, as much as I like Brunson, and prefer him on my Knicks team. Therefore, Mitchell deserves to be All-Star starter along with Halliburton in the guard position.

Dame and Brunson's stats are nearly identical, except Dame's advanced stats are better. Dame also has to share a ball with the team's second best player. Brunson gets to do whatever he wants, so his stats should be way better than Dame's. Yet they're not.

Dame deserves it over Brunson.
