God is cleaning up His church.. He is shaking everything that can be shaken so His church will come forth in purity

I was disappointed when Chris joined Morning Star quite frankly and am relieved that he now left. The fact he left so abruptly points to something more that asks to be revealed obviously

The statement that stood out to me is that he is leaving broke. That shouldn't be true if he's been paid according to his offices and responsibilities

John Collins just dropped a 2 and a half hour, historical deep-dive on NAR and it’s relation to the Latter Rain movement and Pentecostalism past and present😮‍💨

With the "no money" thing, people should know that Morning Star is so frugal that EVERYONE has to tighten their belts in order to live. They don't say that people work for "slave wages", instead they use the euphemism "missionary wages". There are people who work there that are living below the poverty line. So it doesn't surprise me that Chris says he has no money.

After reading both statements from Rick and Chris, the disagreement seems clear. Rick won’t settle in a lawsuit with victim, while Chris is very clear that he will stand with the victims and their families. Neither of them were directly involved with the horrible situation that occurred last year.

I don't trust Rick Joyner. His letter sounds very gaslighty. And considering how much he defends Cain and Jones, but now trying to open up room for us to speculate how Chris is like them... in negative ways...is very negligent of a leader. Even if Chris did something wrong, Rick is breaking his own honor code by speaking negatively about 'a prophetic' like Chris. No disrespect but Rick has been seeming more and more sketch since the ihopkc "trouble." SMH

I lost all respect for Rick Joyner due to how he treated the Christians who were voicing that something was seriously wrong with Todd Bentley back in 2009. He was dead wrong then and I dont know if he ever repented and apologized. I will greatly appreciate any updates you bring up on Mike Bickle and IHOP and what is going on.

A sexual scandal. Young Ceo resigns, LOTs of responsibility here! Chris has prophetic accuracy and sincere, a blessing to MS Body. But he is young, raising a family (five kids??). He is doing the job(s) of 4-5 people. Unless he is a type A, I am thankful he is resigning and stay healthy Chris, if you are reading * !

Rick is Knights of Malta and Chris says that the Apostle John has been hidng out in a cave for thousands of years so he can teach us about what he wrote in the book of Revelation. I would avoid both of them.

Having read Joyner for a number of years and with some familiarity with how he describes his spiritual history, the "deception" that he refers to from his own life was that he felt unqualified to be a minister after he recognized his own spiritual immaturity. He left ministry for ~10 years to start an aviation business. Then, per his story, he realized God never wanted him to leave ministry and returned to the ministry (there's a lot more to it but I'm summarizing).

If you know how Rick talks about his spiritual history, then it seems fairly obvious that he is saying Chris is deceived into thinking he should no longer lead Morningstar while Rick still believes God wants Chris to lead.

I no longer believe Rick has real insight (and also have plenty of questions about Chris Reed), but it still seems to me that there may not be anything really malicious going on behind the scenes apart from a difference about whether Chris should remain leader of Morningstar and perhaps also differences about how to handle the lawsuit. God knows. If there is anything really awful, I pray it will come into the light.

May God have mercy on the Church, and may the Church wake up and obey the pure and simple voice of the Bridegroom!

The reference to Bob Jones and Paul Cain struck me as intimating there was something sexually immoral.
What a SLEEZY way for Rick Joyner to respond. I think Rick has been going out of his way to destroy his own reputation. It’s going to be hard to support him for anyone who has.

This breaks my heart…thank you for covering this with as much grace as possible.

This is a common issue with leaving ministry. Where the minister leaving is “out of God’s will” because they are not serving said ministry. There tends to be very unhealthy expectations placed on those in leadership and then when they do the right thing by stepping away and placing their families first or trying to course direct themselves to a healthier place, they are judged for being out of God’s will. I too hope that Chris is not guilty of some deeper issues.

Yeah, it's interesting that Chris Reed says he's just stepping away from ministry for personal reasons and then mentions this abuse case at the church like, how does that tie in? Maybe there's an issue in his own personal life that hasn't been resolved or that he's been involved with, and this case has triggered him. None of it really makes sense.

Well, if Joyner says you've lost your way, it's quite likely you're walking in the truth.

I’m wondering why his resignation letter included the incident of the sexual misconduct of a person that has nothing to do with Chris Reed

Y'all don't know that Chris manufactured prophetic words when he came to IHOP KC, using human means rather than a true word from the Lord. The guy truly is a false prophet by biblical standards. Him hiding suggests that things are coming close to being exposed and he wants to disappear now. Y'all prob don't know that he was a key disciple of Paul Cain, who trained him how to do human research and then manipulate human hearts for his own gain. His first visit to IHOPKC, he introduced an addendum to the fake 4:18 prophecy that Cain and Bickle promoted for decades, giving a crafty rhyme that he thought of long before that sounded very spiritual, relating the queen of England's death which would usher in revival soon after, but since the original prophecy is now known to be false, either this guy was listening to Satan or he researched facts and knew the 4:18 storyline, so he could twist things during his 1st visit. Of course he knew about the 4:18 details from Cain, long before coming to IHOP KC....

I think Chris wants to distance himself from Rick because of Rick's handling of the victim and the lawsuit.

So what about when Chris went to meet with Bickle and wouldn’t let Francis Chan and others in??
