The elephant in the room for silver is the amount of silver supply vs gold supply? There is way less silver due to its multiple uses as compared to gold. Once the silver manipulation is ended (soon) the real lack of silver supply will be reviled thus skyrocketing silver (in my opinion) to a 1 to 1 or better ratio to gold.
