I'd love to see you do a proper wood handle for the axe, but maybe as an homage you could laser etch gummy bears into it. OR you could get those silicone gummy bear molds and make resin gummy bears and inlay a couple in some key points. Not sure if that'd be a failure point for the wood, though (I ain't a woodworker --yet)

Wow, from the very first Peter video I watched! Great project, unsurprising result, but interesting to see. Another vote for a Gummy Axe 2.0, with some turned wood and maybe steel rod and maybe fiberglass for strength, and properly cast resin gummies.

this is why I will never stop suggesting to makers to consider high-strength core materials for "functional" resin projects. Lexan is pretty strong stuff, and clear enough!
