Today Cody shows off his vintage snowmobile collection! He purchased a 1971 Elan last year and in this episode he finds a 1980 Elan and a skiboose! These vintage sleds are rare to find in this condition. Cody breaks in the new snowmobile and sleigh by ripping them around!

I had A 1971 back in the mid 90's, I put a 440 Twin on it as the 18hp was not enough!

Yes, you can get ‘em stuck. Many times in deep powder. Also deep heavy wet snow. And the worst was trying to waterskip through slush. It took 3 of us to pull it out

The Skidoo with the twin tracks and one ski is called the Alpine. Built to be a workhorse, depending on the year 370cc-640cc, dual 15 tracks and a cigarette lighter. Payload behind the rider of 250lbs and could probably pull a house.

Saw an Elan at Hay Days that was nice as new with the optional speedometer.
I am not a collector but that sled was tempting to buy it was that nice.

I have bud, had a ton of 3wheelers im trying to get running for him. And he has a ton of elans too. He has one of the sleds butit doesn't have a windshield. And he has a skidoo alpine he says starts 2nd pull he said i could have. He has a ton of other cool stuff too.

the sled with two tracks and one ski is an alpine that one looks like maybe a 1970. both tracks move the same they dont steer like a tank and that other twin track was a RD they are rare

I got a 292 elan a 250t elan and 2 247's or 250 singles 2 340 TNT's 1 400F/A TNT 440 TNT a 340 Merc sno twister as well as an Arctic cat 340 ext a 640 Nordic and 2 775 racing sleds all from 72 and for 73's a silver bullet 340 and an Olympique got more but I don't feel like saying them all
