I've been watching your channel for years and only just seen this. Yakiniku is my favourite cuisine and almost every dinner on my visit to Japan is Yakiniku because there are none in my home country (Korean BBQ doesn't count). Having tried so many my only prerequisite now is that they are sumibi or charcoal, that makes a big difference to the taste. Some Gyu kaku eg. is charcoal, their sauce can also be bought in some grocery stores. The other variant is the fan extraction system, side extraction like Gyu kaku is always superior because there are no visual obstruction with your dining party. The other twist is the sauce, each restaurant has its own special sauce which also helps. My favourite is Kourakuen in Hakodate. It is my main reason for visiting Hakodate.

I've heard of more restaurants having conveyer belts, but I didn't know it has become so advanced to even carry a full meal and place them to your table! I'd love to try the last one!
