It’s dope to setup up music and see what blends go well with each other during a flight, lunch break, school break, in bed while wife is watching tv ect but I would never use it at a gig. I rather use my numark 2go2 then just a laptop

This is great I case you forget your USB wire. It has happened to all of us. That's why I loved traktor from the getgo.

The Serato Play is interesting I have been messing around with and I like it, but for the price is kind of pricy. What I found out is that the sound effects are post fader which I was like ok that cool is just that djaying off my keyboard is hard but is good for a backup (just don't forget that dj cable which is a cable that I can make and I already check that cable and I see how it was put together but that a story for another day).

Quick question is there a way for the pitch controller to not reset after each song ?

how can i cue up the next song without altering or affecting the sound coming out???

I'm not 'sold' on play..
with 2 deck practice mode, you could already do most of these things with keyboard shortcuts, a decent USB sound card, and a headphone jack.

Do you think its fair to have to pay extra for this feature or it should be a free upgrade with Pro..?

No thanks. i get they are a company so extra for video, flip, extra effects. that i get. but this should of been free with the last update. a unannounced thank you from them to all of us. the price is not right for the product. $10 is a better price. the other big names in the game already has you djing without a hardware if you want. Maybe they will see the light and a couple of years this will be part of the serato pro. until then i will stick with my numark 2go2 and my laptop to practice/set up my sets/ also small gigs. such a better experience. But thanks for the tips.
