It's been so long since we've gotten such an iconic camp film, this was an instant love for me I'm still stunned by how creative and bold every aspect of this movie was. The dream sequence!?! Are you kidding that was gorgeous! They don't make them like this anymore but man, I hope they start making movies made with love like this again!

Liza Soberano (Taffy) stole almost every scene she's in. What a well-written charming character.

Liza embodies the talent that you get when you free these actors from the weird celebrity system of our home country. Lea Salonga proved it and Liza just reminds us of it.

The standout to me was absolutely Liza Soberano as Taffy. She killed it in every scene and hit the notes of heartfelt and funny perfectly.

It was so much fun!! The visuals were fantastic and there were such great artistic sequences! Liza Soberano as Taffy and Carla Gugino as Janet were the stand out performances for me!

Your review actually has me excited for this movie. "More like Heathers than Twilight" is right up my alley. I'm a gen X who was obsessed with Heathers and really like dark comedies.

This film surprised the hell out of me. The trailer intrigued me and I'm a fan of Diablo Cody's screenplays so I gave it a shot. I so glad that you had 3 categories Dan.. because I definitely felt this was sooo for me. The tone, the vibe, the humor and the entire cast impressed me across the board. I'm spreading the word because this film deserves to be seen and experienced.

I came out of this movie last night feeling like I'd been the one struck by lightning! Totally in the third camp where this movie feels like it was meant for me :) Absolutely adding it to my Top 10 of all time! There's just something about it! Great review!

This movie looks right up my alley. I'm one of those who immediately got what Jennifer's Body was doing and thoroughly enjoyed it, and was similarly enthralled by Heathers back when it came out. I have always loved dark humor.

I’m in that third camp. My wife and I saw it because of your review, Dan, and my wife and I were howling with laughter the whole time. To me, the mixture of crisp and often subtle dialogue with its gothic tone heavily reminded me of my all-time favorite TV show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Joss Whedon could write a script that just crackles as you watch it being performed and I got that same vibe from Lisa Frankenstein. Keep up your good work, Dan; I would have passed on this one otherwise.

We watched it and love it! It is a different movie, funny and horror at the same time. The casting is excellent, and the music is so lovely. Promising Hollywood actress Liza Soberano.
