What’s happening in this Hollow Man movie clip?
Sebastian has locked an injured Matt and Linda in the freezer, leaving them to die. Linda constructs an electromagnet using a defibrillator to open the door, then gathers materials to assemble a flamethrower. Meanwhile, Sebastian builds a makeshift bomb that will destroy the facility after he leaves.

What’s the movie Hollow Man?
Sebastian Caine (Kevin Bacon from Footloose and Tremors) is a brilliant scientist, researching invisibility for the US military. His research team includes his ex-girlfriend Linda McKay (Elisabeth Shue from Cocktail and Battle of the Sexes), Matt Kensington (Josh Brolin from The Goonies and Avengers: Infinity War), Sarah Kennedy (Kim Dickens from The Blind Side), Janice Walton (Mary Randle), Carter Abbey (Greg Grunberg from A Star is Born) and Frank Chase (Joey Slotnick). If the experiment on animals is convincing, it is nevertheless not enough for the government authorities who intend to stop the program. In desperation, Sebastian, the person in charge of the research, decides to test his discovery on himself. Now invisible, he makes jokes and spies on his colleagues until he realizes that the process is irreversible. Enraged, he starts to harass his colleagues, to attack people. His colleagues try to find a solution, but Caine becomes more and more obsessed by his new power and gradually becomes convinced that his colleagues are after his life. From now on, Caine will sink into madness and represent a real threat for his entourage.

I really love the character development and growth of Linda in this scene. At first she was the dasmel in distress but then she uses her strength and intelligence to survive. To me those are excellent characteristic traits for a horror icon. Elizabeth Shue did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying that elements. 😍😎💯👍

One positive I will say about this movie is I like the parallel with Linda and Sebastian both experimenting with various things. One does it for survival and the other for destruction. Linda was a badass, Matt was pretty cool, and I hated Sebastian with a passion and it felt really good when he got burned the first time and died in the fire. The Invisible Man can be so much better of a character than this and the way he was in the 2020 remake as well. The Invisible Man is such a badass character and Claude Rains was excellent and honestly how can you go from Claude Rains to basically two people who are narcissistic, insecure, rapists, and animal abusers? The Invisible Man should have been a one and done.

Lol so I was thinking about this scene and others like it with people trapped inside This used to scare me, but all you'd have to do is damage the fan blades or create a refrigerant leak. She even has a crow bar inside the freezer with her, it would have been easy. Granted she would still need to escape of course
