Strange that with all the ninjutsu flying everywhere, my favorite part of the fight is when they're both running on empty and bare knuckle brawling in the mud. It takes them both down from gods-among-men for a second and plays out like drunken fist fight with your mate behind the bar.

It's watching the raw, bloody, and taxing process of two young men just venting a lifetime of frustration with each other and themselves. Sasuke wanting Naruto to take their fight seriously, to finally start hating him so he could push him away guilt-free and not have to feel bad about the lifetime of connections that he never experienced. Naruto at the end of his patience, he just fought a war beside his friend and they saved everyone only to get backstabbed yet *again.* Literally letting his friend wail on him like a punching bag until he burns out all of his hate, but in the back of his mind all too aware of the stakes and knowing that he's teetering on the edge of **having** to kill him for everyone else's sake.

The moment in the reflection sequence when Sasuke realizes that he's been jealous of Naruto all along--that was when Naruto won. The hate, anger, and blame all ran their course. The only person Sasuke had left to blame for how he felt was himself. He couldn't lash out at the world anymore.

Seeing this fight for the first time was just realizing everything coming to an end. We all knew a final fight was going to be inevitable, but actually seeing it just made me think of how long the journey was. You can see them fight much quicker, aggressive, and of course with Sasuke going all out bc he knew he had to kill Naruto or at least Naruto dies or he dies.

I never get tired of this. From the OP of OP fights, to two friends, deeply confused about their friendship, settling things through a battle of determination. Some friends, some people, are worth losing a part of yourself if it means saving them. But you never forget why you did what you did. The fact that Naruto did this with like 2% of Kuramas Chakra and tired after war while holding back. And Sasuke wasn't holding back, had rinnesharigan and all tailed beasts Chakra. Sasuke even stole more chakra during the fight.Really shows how powerful Naruto is.
