Large Black Rat Snake Climbs a Tree!

Watch a large black rat snake climb its way up a tree.

The reptile, about five feet in length, slithers up the tree, which is situated next to a lake at at Wildwood Park in Pennsylvania.

This snake is also known as a rat snake, with other names being pilot black snake or simply black snake.

This species of snake is known to be an excellent climber and spends time in trees.
The snake is also known to be a competent swimmer, making this location perfect for this type of snake.
