CofE's First Trans Archdeacon - LLF Delayed! - Safeguarding Update & More News - Rev Dan's Round Up

It is now confirmed that the LLF process has been delayed until December. The Diocese of Manchester has appointed a trans archdeacon. I have an update on my safeguarding video from this week. The CofE is stopping investing in fossil fuels and the Unite union is campaigning for a clergy pay rise. Does a new appointment tell us where King Charles is on LLF? Abortions are on the rise! The Holy Spirit will not work with the Archdeacon so any faithful Christian shouldn't. It is so clear. This problem only arises when believers refuse to separate from apostates. "For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" Simple adherence to this would have saved so much grief.

I've been hearing a lot of anecdotal stuff coming out of Manchester where the majority of those who attended the diocesan meeting that expresses concern at the LLF process (and the meeting was called at the last minute during Holy Week!) have been rebuked by the Bishops over 'unrelated' matters. The tone has been clear from the leadership - if you don't like our ethos, you can leave. I left Manchester diocese a couple of years ago and am very thankful I did.

Imagine having to pray for a newly appointed Archdeacon to be shown the way " back to Christ"! Who appoints such a person to that role!? They especially need our prayers

I totally empathise with your predicament over the new doctrines of the CofE. Like you, I also had problems. My questioning faith journey eventually took me back to (the traditional Bible believing remnant of) the Catholic Church. May the Holy Spirit guide you into Truth, Integrity & Peace. God bless.

@Rev Dan, where I live, in my Diocese, two years ago we were appointed an actively gay man, who was in a relationship with another man after he'd come out, as Archdeacon.

After a year, he resigned, because he was not recognised as with spiritual authority in the area, this with a liberal bishop who had persuaded him to come back, back because after he'd left his family after 'coming out' and going into his relationship he resigned his dogcollar, and take the appointment.

Soon after, the bishop resigned his post.

If the church fellowships in the Diocese are largely conservative and traditional, they can get the same result if the refuse Rev. Mann's spiritual authority and bombard the Bishop with concerns.

We know this trans thing is also an abomination in G-d's eyes and an absolute sin, as it comes under the edict that men and women should not, as a lifestyle, 'wear the other's clothes'! That goes for the trans vicar as well. Anyone who cherry-picks the full counsel of G-d is in danger of *denying* G-d the Father, the Son and sailing very close to blaspheming the Holy Spirit, as all three *is* G-d!

But Scripture tells us that this is going to happen, as the Church Politic becomes Mystery, Babylon, the Woman riding the Beast, Jezebel of whom Jesus warned the Church of Thyatira of, if you accept that those letters are prophetic of both the Dispensations of Church History, and these End Times, as I do.

And here we are. He who hears what the Spirit is saying to the Church, let him hear. And to act on it.

BTW, LLF is an abomination, as well, in my view.

Let the Church of England go to the dogs, it came out of King Henry’s failing loins 500 years ago, it wasn’t fit for purpose then, nor is it fit for purpose now.
