I have tried a couple of Avant products received in beauty boxes. They were pleasant to use but nothing spectacular and definitely not worth what they charge.

I think the avant is great but on their website they have different packages for these products. I suppose there is where they cut the costs. They produce the products for beauty subscriptions on lower packaging level and probably in bigger batches. Maybe also in China 😀

I got the day cream as an extra in a £10 Roccabox. I also got it p&p free so that was a very good value box. I definitely wouldn’t pay £90+ for any Avant products - that’s just not in my budget.

Avant is one of the brands in subscription boxes that I seem to just collect. 😅 I don't think I have actually *tried* the products. They're just sitting in a box. If it wasn't for the shipping cost to the US, I would totally try this box. 😕

TBH the exfoliator is my favourite product by Avant. I know the prices are crazy and it is not worth it even 10 pounds but the exfoliator is amazing. My overall opinion about the company is mixed as I have more than 10 products from them with no particular positive results on the skin but I think it is matter of testing different things. The other two that are quite good - lip scrub and the night eye cream. Both work wonderfully for me and I like the fact that the eye products do not contain any fragrance. Saying all of this - there are too many boxes offering these products, so everyone can test them without paying this crazy price. I think this brand exists only to be in boxes :D

I got a wowcher cohorted box few weeks ago and cohorted gave me gone off chocolate and every single product was out of date and samples. Disgusted in the company. Down £25 and had allergic reactions. Most products 6 years old

Hi Claire, I got this box and I feel avant is extortionate. I love most of their products but would never in a million years buy their stuff outright, but I do enjoy getting them in beauty boxes. Xx

Iam really glad that I cancelled that box - last one was very dissapointing but this would made me mad as I have already all of those products from various other subscriptions and dont even like it - I think its very boring brand - also we had box full of skincare like 2 months ago - whats the point?

I cancelled my subscription out of principle as I think it's a complete cop out. No way would they give £490 worth of product away for £40. I gave mine to my mum as I don't rate Avant one bit. I'm also peeved that the box before last was full of skincare so to get another box also full of skincare so soon was disappointing 😞 xx

I totally understand how Cohorted work things so if you sign up now you'll get the next box and not the one you've just unboxed, but... As they are sending it to you in PR, and they probably know at least 3 months in advance what will be in their boxes, don't you think it would be to their advantage to send you out a box people can see unboxed and then actually be able to get, rather than having to chance it for a one-off box?
I love watching all your unboxings and really value your opinion on the items inside each subscription box, but I really think Cohorted are missing a trick here.
Asos are smarter and send them to you well in advance ;o) (even if I still manage to miss them selling out!) x

Avant is over priced they don’t sell anywhere but all the Hut company who own glossy box look fantastic skin store so basically if you search up where they are based and who owns these products I love Claire and I’m subscribed to her she’s amazing to watch but I’m just not really a fond of avant or kerastase who is owned by L’Oréal I mean a little research you get your answer 🍀

Sorry Claire had to skip past where you showing the individual products and the prices. It just makes me angry. Collagen in skincare and patches etc does absolutely NOTHING. The molecules are too big to be absorbed into the skin. I used to fall for that until I found out recently how useless it is topically. Better off taking a collagen supplement and hopefully some of it will make it to your skin after it's been directed to the parts of the body that needs it. Only clicked on the video because it's your video and I like to support you. I'll say no more about avant though. I've had enough to anger me today. Thanks for sharing and take care.
