In the hospital the day My dad passed from cancer, we left the room to give my parents time to talk while he was still responding. She said she climbed in the bed next to him and he scooted over as much as he could move and as they laid there she spoke of the good times and he said I've enjoyed my life with you honey. She said we had some good times. This song makes me think of that moment.
He passed later that day June 8, 2023. August would've been 55 years of marriage. I love their love story.
