You want good healthcare, you better change the way it is reported to Medicare. Too much redundancy and ridiculous paperwork required by Medicare. Now is the time to allow nurses to transcribe notes by dictation. Let's start spending time in front of the patient and away from the computer. That is the only way to make the home care model better. Otherwise, you are just blowing smoke. From a 5 year home health nurse that is about to quit because paperwork takes priority over treating the patient!
