Nerissa explained that her passion for architecture stems from her desire to make a positive impact on society. "To become an architect is a way to make changes to the world and improve the living conditions of society," she said.

When asked about her advice for aspiring architects, Nerissa encouraged them to keep an open mind, work hard and work smart. "It’s very important to read, travel, and be open-minded in all aspects of life not just in education or career path," she said.
