After ChatGPT, now Google Bard fails UPSC CSAT #csat #upsc #upscprelims #prelims

I am a computer scientist. two points here :
1. ChatGPT is build to generate text and in that process, it hallucinates i.e. generate wrong sentence as it makes them up. That's why it fails. It doesn't fail becz it finds questions in UPSC very tough but it fails due to hallucination. Even if you give it a very simple question like " write about the life and struggle and achievements of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai.". Even in this, chatgpt will give you some wrong sentences about Vikram sarabhai becz it has made them up and hence they are wrong sentences.

2. chatgpt or gpt - series models are not trained on solving maths problems. There are many research papers in the computer science community that shows that gpt or similar models can't even solve primary school maths questions.

Note: this is the concept of Large language model and currently LLM are in their beginning stages.

Chatgpt is giving correct answer: To compare the values 2^40 and 3^21, we can calculate their actual numerical values and then make the comparison.

They do direct calculation rather breaking the ques into more feasible form
