I always felt safe during childhood, just never loved. No doubt many feel similarly.

As an example about breath work. I've begun mechanical machines using reps; the only way for me to focus and complete the reps and weight selected is through breathing slowly and counting intake and exhaling breathing. Exercising the body is very similar to working with daily emotional STRESS.

Hi,
My name is Dharam, I have son who is 5 year old. He is been diagnose
with delay in speech and Social skills. At the moment he is doing two days a
week Speech Therapy and one day a week on Occupational Therapy.
His OT has asked us to read and view some video about
Polyvagal theory by Stephen Porges. She has mentioned that at the moment she is
working on that therapy. I would like to ask you that Polyvagal theory will
help him in his social skills? How can we assist him on that and what we should
be doing at home with him to get him improve in his social skills? Much
appreciated for your time and help. Thanks Dharam
