A venomous red-bellied black snake was removed from a home in Australia after it was discovered curled up in a child's bed. Red-bellied black snakes are one of the most frequently encountered snakes on the east coast of Australia, and are responsible for a number of bites every year, according to the Australian Museum.

When I was 12 years old I stayed in a house in a bushland area outside of Eumundi, QLD some 25+ years ago now. My mother had called me into my room one evening and asked me to have a look under my bed. What did I see? An Eastern brown snake skin completely shed and could have been under my bed for any number of minutes, hours or days. This was about a 1.5 metres long and certainly every possibility that I could have been attacked in my sleep and possibly lost my life. To this day I consider myself extremely lucky to be alive.

Definitely my biggest fear right there how I pictured it a snake slithering up my bed up my feet but there are no snakes In my area still just to imagine it sickens me I apologize for snake lovers but not me you’re afraid of heights? I’m afraid of snakes.
