I grew up in the church my father is a chaplain. I've studied scripture for years. One thing I've always heard was that the walls of Jericho and other mountains known aren't to be found in the east. The four rivers that are connected to the garden of eden isn't found in the East either.
To take matters further utah is derived from Yudah there was no j back then and that's not an English or Spanish word that the colonizers have it. Yudah is an indigenous name. Columbus in his journal noted that his voyage to America was to confirm rumors that he heard about the lost tribes being in this land. The land that was also mentioned in the 2nd book of Esdra
