Feeling tired all the time is a common symptom during and after the covid infection.
Symptoms of Post Covid Syndrome are:
Waves of Fatigue
Fever
Joint & muscle pain
Digestion Issues like Constipation & Diarrhea
Sleep disturbances
Depression
Food Intolerance
Why do u feel tired
Mast cell activation Syndrome. Mast cells produce high level of Histamines.
How to lower it:
avoid high histamine foods like spinach,avocado, tomato, banana, fermented foods
Tea, Coffee and Alcohol blocks diamine oxidase (DAO) enzyme which breakdown histamine. Green tea in covid is actually not a good idea.
Vitamins and Minerals that lower histamine
Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Zinc, Niacin, Quercetin, Selenium
Water will help to release histamine from the body.
Anti-inflammatory foods - Turmeric, ginger, garlic helps. but if diarrhoea, avoid.
Gut Health is extremely important. Do a course of probiotics with antibiotics.
Maintain a food diary
Improve sleep quality
Start with 10 minutes of exercise. Only if it does not strain the body. It will improve blood circulation and sleep quality.
