SaffronOlive, I think you should test the deck WITHOUT Chronosavant... It is just a poor finisher to aggro decks like burn and affinity and this deck plays well vs midrange slow decks. I know this is a budget deck, but for obvious reasons, Celestial Colonade makes Chronosavant redundant.


i will suggest to play Day's undoing with instead as a draw 7 after establishing the lock fills up the hand for you to dig stuff out of knowledge pool.

you can still get cast triggers. the only one that actually comes up in modern right now is the new ulamog in tron. they get cast trigger and exile curse/knowledge pool

Pride of the clouds and other forecast cards will let you have plays even with rule of law locking you as well. Soul Snare might be a good option for creature removal.

Does Krosan Grip and other split second cards ignore the knowledge pool lock?

This hard lock wasn't as bad to watch as the pauper one. With this one at least they conceded or you killed them rather quickly instead of stalling till they decked themselves or got enough mana and counterspells for a counter war before dropping your one of three wincons.
