does the display case comes with the stand or do i need to order both?

Are you sure the border etching should be on the outside? The back plate with the vinyl is etched too and is used as a guide to align the print so this is clearly the inside. I would have thought the other side pieces should have the etching inside to match the back piece and it kind of gives a cleaner look to it. I can’t see anywhere on the Wicked Brick website to indicate the orientation either?

Bro I should have watched this video before I built my Starry Night display case, AND recorded myself building it. These boxes are awesome but NO INSTRUCTIONS is insane. If I didn't know how to build stuff in general I would've been so lost. lol


It took me HOURS to build the box and then clean off my fingerprints and then load the Starry Night in there. Was it worth it? I would say maybe .. once I figured it out, I moved quickly but the first hour was just peeling the panels off and trying to figure out what goes where. Mine is wall mounted so you have to connect the screw boxes/cubes through the bottom too, whereas the other display boxes they have you can just lower the case over the Lego already on the base and just pop it on and off whenever you want.

It looks great in box though. Makes the Starry Night look like a proper museum piece. It's hard to rate the box because the quality is so good and wipes off clean and once it is sealed it's dust free and just makes you feel good knowing you won't have to clean it again.

But no instructions is puzzling. They need to record themselves building every box and load it onto YouTube if they aren't going to send out printed manuals. They can even hook us up for free if we agree to record ourselves building it to help them outsource the work.. 😅

Hey guys, I just discovered Wicked Brick and I'm thinking about picking up some of their displays. Several of my kits are modded with Lightailing lights and I was wondering if anyone knew if there is space in the case to weave a cord through to plug my kits into an outlet. If not, there's also a battery pack function, but I'm not crazy about the idea of taking apart my display case to turn them on, putting them back together and then repeating. Thanks, guys!

Did it come with the background already stuck on, or did you have to do that? I've bought a couple of display cases from Wicked Bricks (albeit smaller ones than this) and the background is a vinyl sticker that I've had to put on myself. I find it impossible to do it without getting bubbling or creasing. I feel like it would be even worse given the size of this one.
