I remember the Fatal Fury animes VERY WELL. In my honest opinion, its one of the best animes based on a video game. Right next to the Street Fighter animes (my personal favorite being Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie). To my memory, Fatal Fury had not one, but three separate animated movies; the first being "Legend of the Hungry Wolf" (1992), "The New Battle (1993), and The Motion Picture (1994). Basically a trilogy.

By far the best animated adaptation of a fighting game. I was obsessed with all 3 Fatal Fury anime's growing up. The anime worked as intended because it made me care about the Fatal Fury games and of course the far superior King of Fighters series. I'm extremely grateful for everyone involved in bringing these to life. Very fond memories from these films that I'll have forever.

Honestly that's how I found Fatal Fury was Obari's work on the motion picture. Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat reigned Supreme. But now I like the King Of Fighters more than the other two franchises. The game play is the best. SNK actually has the better product currently.
