1970-1990 era was my favourite. Even though it wasn’t the best time due to gas crisis, but I still love these cars

I thought the Challenger was made in the early '70s, not the late '60s.

very cool, wrong picture of the 1962 corvette (C1). 1963 was the C2 . C4 Corvette was 1984-1996. You actually skip C4

I know the evolution of American full-size RWD sedans from the 1960s to the 2020s. All of them had a V8 and an automatic transmission minimum.

1960s-1970s: Body-on-frame chassis and I6 and manual transmissions were also available, too many to give an example

1980s-1990s: I6 and manual transmission are no longer available, but the ladder frame is retained, e.g. Ford Crown Victoria, Chevrolet Impala

2000s-2020s: V6 and AWD options are added and a unibody is used instead of a separate frame, e.g. Dodge Charger, Chrysler 300

Since the end of 2023, there are no more American full-size sedans with a V8 engine following the discontinuation of the Dodge Charger. However, hope may not be dead yet as Ford has recently officially announced the possibility of a 4-door Mustang with a V8. Although they didn’t mention it, it may be full-size if it enters production, since the Interceptor concept from 2007 was full-size and utilized the D2C platform which is what every Mustang has used since 2004, albeit a slightly lengthened version, assuming the 4-door Mustang will use that platform.
