Allison sits down with the three incredibly talented sisters who comprise the band, The Warning, from Monterrey, Mexico. They have been playing since they were old enough to hold instruments, and have already played alongside bands like Foo Fighters and Guns N’ Roses. They are currently on their North American tour this month and will be opening for Muse in Europe this summer. They talk all about their relentless drive and work ethic, how they got their first break, what it’s like to open for their idols, and the secret weapon of their sibling magic.

Ale to her friends, "I can't go to the Muse concert with you now because I'm going to be in it. Does anyone want to buy my ticket?" 😅

They are why I swear by showing up for opener bands. Heard them for the first time when they opened for Halestorm, from there it progressed into them becoming my all time favorite band, even as someone who used to never choose favorites. Ended up traveling to a different country to see them headlining and was one of the ones lucky enough to meet them <3 I hope they continue to grow and more people get to experience their art.

I'm a 64 yr old woman who grew up loving Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Heart Jerfferson Starship. These ladies ROCK!!! I would have LOVED rocking with them in highschool!

When they sing a song in English or Spanish, I don't even notice. I just hear beautiful melody. The fact they are women matters not. The fact they are 3 sisters, with supportive parents, matters most. Supportive family, surrounding them with like minded people that they consider family is what has allowed them to flourish. God bless these 3 women and protect them. 🙏

Song writing is the rarest and most important part of any music. The warning Excel at this

This was a great interview. Im an old Rocker who has fallen in love with The Warning. These young ladies are putting a dent in the Universe of R&R. They kill it when they go metal.

I don't think they realize it, and how could they if they're so humble, but i think their idols became their fans

This interview aged like fine wine. 4mo after this interview, they ROCKED the MTV VMA's! Showing MTV how it's done.

I'm glad to see Ale talking. Normally she is so quiet and shy. This band is awesome

Don't know how these girls popped onto my feed. They're striking, "We're badass, " poses for a camera and I'm thinking, "Oh this'll be cute." They start playing and rapidly it's clear: Tight, melodic, powerful, theatric.
They're playing Filmore West; how many shows did I see there in '60's? Damn...

Talking about the creative process when writing new songs:
Pau: "Dany says things..."
Ale: "...that don't make sense!"
Dany: *grins big and shakes her head yes*

For some reason it seems like forever since seeing the ladies in this type of situation. So I'm reminded once again how adorable they are.

These Lovely Ladies are so humble and so intelligent. They saved my life also.
My wife suddenly passed away Feb. 11, 2020 from a rare heart condition. I was literally grieving myself to death. I didn't care for life any more.
About 3 weeks later I was trying to listen to youtube videos. YT made a suggestion of The Warning covering G&R sweet child. I always liked that song so I gave it a listen. Watching them and especially Ale on the bass was so interesting. The next day I gave it a listen to again and then I was hooked. I now listen to them every day all day.
I will probably never meet them but that is ok..

Maybe I'm the only person around who isn't entirely surprised that Pau is interested in finance, but she has always struck me the most in tune on the business side. She's the one who allegedly told some nameless record executive that they'd rather play what they like for 10 people than what someone else wants for 10, 000, and there are other things I've seen in interviews and documentaries where she comes across very hard-nosed and focused on more than the music. Not coldly so, but definitely of the form "nobody's going to take advantage of us". I could easily see her being an entrepreneur in some creative industry.

Probably the best band on the planet today. Being a musician myself for 40 plus years, they simply blow me away consistently.

Muse inviting The Warning to do the UK part of their European Tour minds me of Def Leppard inviting them to finish Def Leppard's Mexico tour in 2017. Def Leppard had TW open for them in Mexico city the first night of their 3 show tour (Mexico City, Guadalajara, then The Mother Of All Festival in Monterrey, which TW was already committed to). TW did the first show and The Guadalajara show was, I think, two days after counting a travel day. TW was not originally supposed to be at the Guadalajara show. Def Leppard was so impressed by TW that after the first show, they asked TW to join them in Guadalajara. TW, always willing to take any opportunity, said yes. There was a scramble to get clothes, food, and equipment, but pulled it off. The played the Guadalajara show with an even more impressed Def Leppard watch from the side of the stage, which is very rare for the main band to do. Then TW nearly gets hospitalized after their opening for Mother of All, giving their all playing in extreme heat.

Joe Elliot of Def Leppard was so impressed that he talked about The Warning in his radio show.

DPA really made some believers and great friends in those few days.
