Chevrolet Corvette C3 Stingray Rally Car @ Legend Boucles de Bastogne 2023

A Chevy Corvette from 1968 is far from a usual rally car, but that makes it only better. The V8 sound of the mighty Corvette Stingray C3 in the Belgian countryside was phenomenal and Patrick Snijers with navigator Davy Thierie made the best of the heavy car on the small roads. Sitting in the top ten after the first leg, the crew unfortunately didn't start the second day of the Legends Boucles à Bastogne 2023 due to the bad gravel stages.
Hope to see that car back on the stages soon!

Awesome to see this iconic American sports car rallying in Europe in the mud and rain and having a whole lot of fun. Corvettes should have competed in many more rallies during the 50's, 60's and 70's. It's a shame that they didn't. Great video. Thanks.

I think its an amazing car. The look is just iconic, especially with the tyre strapped to the rear. V8 power is always good too.

Cannot even fathom such a contraption repurposed for this. The ONLY even loosely-understandable reason would be he lost a bet whilst out on a serious drinking binge and this was him... paying up.
