Derek, you may be my elder and I respect you as such but trust me when I say I’m not patronizing you when I say I’m super proud of where you’ve came. I was watching you a couple years back when you were allot smaller and had less quality production. Nobody knew you then and now you got Betances on, people on a payroll and clearly a level of notoriety that big leaguers are taking notice of you. Keep up the good work, Yankees will be working directly with you in no time. Very inspiring

Only in his mid 20's Soto might be inclined to not change teams yet again & enjoy the Yankees aura while in his prime.

Good interview Dellin is Rey Jonathans brother your catcher in youth service thank you for your playing days with the Yankees, if you didn't get hurt you definitely would've been a hall of famer

I got a baseball from Betances when he was in SWB here in Syracuse. Just wish I got him to sign it.

Juan would be very foolish to leave such a great situation behind for pure greed. See Robinson Cano leaving NYY, and Albert Pujols leaving STL....big regrets by both of them. They were both miserable with their choices, aside from the extra money, which, did they really need it for all those years of aggravation?

The Yankees need to trim the fat on current players that are older and injury prone. That'll clear up some money. We have youngsters that are ready, and have shown it, that are hungry and less expensive. Pay Soto and work on adding pitchting.

At this point as long as Soto don’t leave NY I’m good

Soto has had his best offensive season to date and a lot of that has to do with batting in front of Judge. Lindor is great, but he doesn't strike the same fear as Judge. I think Hal sees, and knows this. I don't think the Baby Boss will deny his Father's legacy of spending on generational talent. I see Hal offering close too, if not matching any offer that isn't completely idiotic

The only way Soto stays is if he takes less money because I don’t see the Yankees as the top bidder. Another factor can be his age 25 compared to that of Judge 32 and Stanton who’ll be 35 next month. By the time Soto hits 30, Judge will be 37 and Big G will be 40. The big three will dwindle down to one. It’s all just speculation and it’s anyone’s guess as to what Soto will finally decide to do. If it’s solely about the money, he’s a goner. That’s just my opinion.

I know people who i consider credible, who know people they consider credible, who knows some credible people...

Soto was always a rental potential, the Yankees have a set amount they won't pass n it's nowhere near 600m

I do think Steve Cohen will offer Soto much more than Hank will.

Soto is a great player, but I hope the Yankees use the money to get Corbin burnes and Anthony Santander instead.
