*Did you already play Forza Horizon 4? Did you skip this one? Or are you here because of the Steam release?*

I can 100% confirm that this game has near infinite replayability. I have hundreds of hours and still enjoy playing it on a weekly basis.

personally I love this game due to the sheer amount of cars in it. I've had fun buying and collecting every car in the game (even the rarest since I have played every week since launch). I don't race a ton, but I love just cruising around and drifting hypercars

I love FH4. I'm not in to the online portion of the game, but did all of the solo content in the game. I can definitely understand how the open world can fatigue some players but I do enjoy pulling out a drift car and earning a bunch of skill points as I drive from one event to the next. There is fast travel but it costs in game currency until you destroy all the fast travel bonus boards. I give the game high praise when it comes to variety as there is an absolutely insane amount of content. I have high hopes for the next Forza Horizon and can't wait to spend a few hundred hours blasting through it.

Startad playing it last week, got an Xbox solely to be able to play this and so far I'm having fun!

I really hope that the next version of Forza or Forza Horizon has VR support. It's not very likely, but their engine is already so well optimized that it would be an awesome feature for the game.

Recently got this in a Steam sale, looks fantastic at 144hz, Ultra settings. Finding out that it has a UNSC Warthog in it is just the icing on the cake, can't wait to unlock that!

Your complaints of the exploration definitely comes from not having played it a long time (judging from how little events showed up on your map). Some of the boards to find, the barns and even some exclusives events to the different seasons (crossing the frozen river to get to a point where you previously could not) give plenty to the exploration aspect. The showcases I would not consider the "boss fights". Later in the game, you unlock special events that have you racing through most of the map. You also didn't mention the chapters(I would compare it to challenges), weekly events, daily events, user created races and user created events.

I played Forza H4 to death, Had it from launch on PC it looks and plays great.
Most other racing games need to study the Forza games the do it best imo

I miss the bucket lists they used to have. The live events could be more competitive by showing who makes the most effort towards the target goals. I have 100% on game completion.

Started playing a week ago. Love the game. It takes all my favourite things that worked well in Burnout Paradise, and with the tuning and modifying it tickles that customisation itch. The combination of arcade and sim-lite gameplay works perfectly. Best racing game I've ever played. Will be playing this one for a long time.

I love how the shortest segment is dedicated to the feature that made me buy the game - the changing seasons! :D

The incentive to explore the world is just driving. It’s really fun to just drive around like a normal person and not crashing into everything and not going 200 miles an hour

Just redownloaded this for the first time since launch started playing manual and clutch and I'm having an absolute blast with it!

It really is a great concept. If they made sure there were more elements that let lower hp, nimble cars survive, and smoothed out the online bugs and quirks, I would say it would have been GOAT.

From here the #1 upgrade I want is Wreckfest Physics.
Copying Spintires offroad challenges would also be amazing.

I put about 500Hrs/Year into Horizon 4 (I wanted to say 1, 000 hours but 20 Hours a week is just how much I WISH I could play this game).
The Track Creator plays a big part in that, I'd be playing other games like Assetto Corsa more if it weren't for Horizon.

Thanks for the excellent PC game. The last racing game I played was Need for Speed, back in the mid-90s. Back then I purchased a racing wheel for like $50 and had a blast playing it over the holidays playing it on my awesome Dell Pentium II PC w/ 14" SVGA monitor. 😁😁
Family life and work soon took over and I have not played since. I see the best racing games cost at least $50 and a good wheel costs $250 or more. I have a nice home PC: 5800X/RTX3070TI with a 2K 27" monitor. Perhaps I will buy this game and nice wheel on my 60th birthday in April. Thanks again!

I played horizon 4 since launch day. I have played it pretty consistently since. While I was a freshman in college I would play it everyday since I was out of state and didn't have any friends except for my roommate who would go home every weekend. I put nearly a month of play time into the game, with over half of that coming from one single semester. I now have pretty much every car I want on there and nearly 50 million credits. I'd say that makes it a pretty good game despite its flaws for me.
