Its refreshing to see that thanks to the boys at UAZ in 2018 you can still buy a van with real levers and real switches, something to physically push or pull, Cheers UAZ .

I remember these from back in Afghanistan when I was a child. They are built for any terrain. Incredible but yet simple vehicles.

Interesting enough vehicle, for some reason I like the “back to basics” way it’s build. Clearly it’s designed for a marked where simplicity is better and more in demand.

Really love this shape and style, it has it's own coolness, remind me an old FIAT 500. They say everytime you see a vehicle like that, it brings you a smile... it's the same for this van.

The ultimate practical vehicle. The day will be discontinued will be a sad day in the automotive industry.

I test drove one, was considering it as a workhorse car at my farm (not the minibus with all the seats), but there are some "modern" features you may miss. No power steering is a bit of a drag when you're used to it, especially in terrain situations it's sometimes useful to be able to actually turn the wheel without moving, which is impossible. Another thing is that the driver seat isn't adjustable, at least wasn't on the model I tried. For me, that wasn't an issue, it seems I'm exactly russian average length at 179 cm, but both my employees are taller, and they couldn't find a comfortable driving position.

In the end I got an UAZ Profi instead, crew cab version, which is a great vehicle. The one thing I would have wanted is a diesel motor, but at the price and getting what's pretty much comparable to a Land Cruiser chassis it's a steal.

Great car, no electronic problems.
4wd with low gear and difflock.
When you have a scratch no problem.
Look at YouTube how Russians drive to almost everything.

Absolutely love it. Things the way they should be, simple, affordable, reliable and robust. West could never engineer such a car, they need cars that break to sell parts and to sell new cars.

Love to own one of these, change the engine to a cummins turbo diesel or a perkins and it would be perfect. Totally unique and would be a great camper.

Tuve un UAZ mod 1986 y ahora tengo un Lada NIVA 2121.
Parece que la marca UAZ vuelve a Colombia, pero este modelo de microbus es lo MÁXIMO.
Sería mi PREFERIDO...
Sigan fabricando y exportando este tipo de vehículos... desde RUSIA...¡con AMOR!.

I would love to have one! The perfect winter car.. 100% function. Everything in this car is easy to service and fix if it breaks. Unfortunally the price in Sweden is too high. About 18500€
