I think it's a right decision because the defender didn't get the ball and he elbowed the striker to the back of the head so it's a good decision by the referee

In football, it's a penalty. While it's obvious that the offensive player wouldn't have been able to touch that ball, the defender clearly elbowed the player whilst offensive player was in position to make a play on the ball. However, I'd take like to see them take note of American football rules that state the offensive player must be able to make a (catch) play on the ball in order for the penalty to be given. Which would make this instance a non-penalty.
