I remember first hearing “Breakdown” as a kid in junior high. Then after further listening, I realized Tom Petty was versatile and talented. One of the few artists that aged so well musically. His rock always had a punch and his ballads were really deep and meaningful.
I’m 60 now and still listen to Tom Petty, solo or Heartbreakers included.
