Understanding VBA Code: How to Open the Visual Basic Editor in Excel

In Microsoft Excel, when we want to do some coding in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) we first need to open up the Visual Basic Editor (VBE). There are three key methods I tend to use to do this:
1. Using the Developer Ribbon Tab
2. Using a shortcut key combination
3. If we have a macro assigned to a button then using this to go directly to our procedure

In this beginner level tutorial I walk you through how to use each of these techniques to open up the VBE and allow you to start coding in VBA.

The video uses MS Excel 2010 but the same steps are used for MS Excel 2013 and Excel 2016.
