Confusing. What you call "automatic updates" for Wordpress, I would call "manually updating" because you have to take action, click on buttons to run the update. I interpret automatically update Wordpress is to configure Wordpress so it updates without any intervention by the webmaster.

When I click the button to update it opens another page called Update Wordpress and requires values for: hostname, ftp username and ftp password. Where do I find these values?

I have some problems to update to version 5.5 it does not do it automatically, so I resorted to this video, without success, when doing the replacement of the suggested folders, there are like 286 files that cannot be replaced, my folders have all write and read permissions, someone with this problem, I have been investigating since March without having a satisfactory result
