Try sewing the pockets onto the base fabric. It will make the whole thing more durable.

Y'all, use your own jeans for this. Please don't take and cut up jeans from thrift stores. Especially anything "plus-sized" or anything extra short or long. Our clothes are so expensive firsthand, and also hard to find, even/especially in thrift stores, since we tend to wear the ones we have until they fall apart and thus they rarely reach secondhand stores. Crafting is really cool but please pleeeease just use your own jeans, or ones donated from friends and family. Seeing these plucked off the secondhand rack HURT.
