What's nice is it's actually naturally aspirated V6 3.5 L. It's very hard these days to find a 3.5 L v6. Right there that would already sell me the vehicle. I'm actually looking for an SUV this size . Perfect! My favorite color is red lol! 🤣

I wish Mazda an Acura would engineer the infotainment system into the dash.

Have a 2018 RX350L and had zero problems other than one of the struts on the tailgate door being broken but Lexus covered it where it’s known problem with that model. Scheduled maintenance on the Lexus is pricey but other than that no complaints.

The new MDX is amazing, but I could say the same about the new TX, GX, and LX, you can’t go wrong with any! Another fantastic Japanese luxury SUV is the new QX80!

bought the wife a new 2024 MDX Technology last December and I'm not very impressed with it. The cabin noise is louder than I thought it would be and the ride isn't all that plush. The V6 seems under powered to me also. I have sound deadened the doors which helped a bit but still getting more noise than I should be. Had to spend $500 on a heated steering wheel that I installed myself. Pretty ridiculous that a $60k car doesn't have remote start and the navigation updates are done with a USB stick. Just did the latest update they sent and the map is from 12/2023. Thinking of getting rid of it already as it's not what I thought it would be as far as luxury is concerned. Some have mentioned that the road noise is from the tires but I shouldn't have to spend another $1200 on tires to make the car quieter. Probably my first and last Acura. I was considering Lexus before my purchase of the Acura and I'm definitely regretting that decision.

I wish Ben did more in-depth, longer car reviews.

Unless you like a proper gear shift, satellite radio and decent gas mileage.

Oh, and I am a long time MDX owner. Finest car I've ever owned, but I hate some of the design decisions they're making. I'm actually sad to be looking elsewhere.

I have always like the Acura MDX. The price is high for them. I would prefer the 2024 Pathfinder Rock Ridge, for the less money and the Pathfinder is nice.

Auto YouTubers, and Ben Hardy in particular, lack credibility. None talk to expected cost of ownership or reliability. Ben in particular, never criticizes design and functions, he just overviews the vehicle which we can all see anyway from the video. With this vehicle Ben failed to talk to the most glaring negative, the excessive gloss (piano) black, and a less obvious negative, the black plastic moulding around the wheel wells. Too concerned about upsetting manufacturers and thus never getting access to autos again. But that approach means they, and Ben in particular, lack credibility in their "reviews".

I would rather have a clean, used GX460 than this. You would get better reliability, a V8 and it would retain its value longer. Acura's depreciate 40% as soon as you drive off the lot! Tbh, I am a Lexus fanboy though, have owned Lx470, Gx470 and now a new Gx550 Overtrail. Acura isn't in the same league as Lexus. This is known.

I have a 2022 acura rdx. Love it. Took a Lexus RX for a test drive and my neighbor has one. He drove my rdx and was kicking himself in the ass for not knowing about acura. He spent $20k more for an inferior vehicle.. Lexus are ugly. The grill looks like Dart Vaders mask.
