This whole story sounds so fishy! There should have been NO LIVE AMMUNITION on the set, who brought it to the scene? Why did the prop man fail to check the gun? This case needs deep investigation, it appears premeditated and hiding behind "an accident."

The person that had been using the gun for target practice did not remove "all" of the live ammo. I think there should be some sort of punishment.
All prop guns should remain empty until ready for use and 3 people should inspect blanks. This should not have happened.

Same type of incident occurred on the set of the Crow W/Brandon Lee, there should NEVER be live ammunition on a movie set, NO excuse whatsoever!!! Those that are responsible for the props & their safety R also responsible 4 whatever happens when said prop malfunctions!
