This is more about the Olympics than the Russian government... The same displacement happens where ever the games travel. I saw people shifted out of their homes both in London and Sydney with my own eyes. Why does HRW point the finger solely at the Russian govt? This has more to do with the soul of the corporate Olympics and the expectations placed on governments to turn profits associated.

You are right, I remember people being outraged two years ago with what was going on in preparation for the London games and I remember similar happening before Beijing. But the people never win. I love the actual games themselves but it really seems like they're run by a bunch of crooks. It makes it hard to enjoy the sport when you know what's going on behind it all.

I'm deeply ashamed that videos like this only generate some hundred / thousand clicks whereas videos with kitties, puppies and stupid people are being clicked right now by millions and millions of people.

totally interesting.... how unfair would it be for the govt to kick them out just for the games. im sure RT wont cover it somehow.
