Running into this now with my Subaru, one small part needed to finish the repair is on indefinite backorder and my rental expired yesterday with GEICO.

This is for people buying these new cars, just purchase cars made 10 to 15 yrs ago, Why are they still making cars it's just cars sitting in lots all over Detroit, Mound, Van Dyke millions of vehicles just sitting who are making vehicles for what about all those vehicles just sitting

They should total the car if it cannot be fix in a timely manner. These wicked corporations. I am in this same situation paying for my car sitting in a repair shop for months and out of pocket rental.

I am sorry but it is not just this guys and his ACURA. It is EVERY vehicle nationwide. And it is not Progressive's fault he bought a policy with only 30 days rental coverage.
