Aw, man, you're the first person I've ever heard take compassion on poor Rodney. You're a good dude! 😂😄

George H. Bush was Ronald Reagan's VP for two terms. The couple next to Ron and Nancy was the Speaker of the House Tip O'Neill and his wife. The reason everyone busted out laughing when Dangerfield said "I voted for Randolph Scott" is because Reagan and Scott were contemporaries in the movie business, and I think they made a few movies together. Marilyn Monroe dies in 1962.

I was lucky enough to not only meet Rodney, but had a awesome conversation, back in the year roller blades came about, I was living in Marina del Rey, and I'd leave panay way headed to Venice on my super cool blades. If you were on the strand by the sidewalk shows headed north toward Santa Monica, right where the shops stop in Venice and the parking started, Rodney was walking with a young hottie, when I here someone say hello Mr Dangerfield, and just then he points at me and says "WTF does that guy got on his feet"?. I made a 180, asked if I could shake his hand I'd tell him all about the roller blades. Right in front of the public bathroom was a bench where the three of us (Rodney, his gal and me) sat and had a time I will certainly always remember. RIP my friend....

I can understand throwing in a little self-deprecating humor in a heavy conversation. I've been overweight my whole life, a few years back my sister beat cancer but there's always worry that it'll come back. She was telling me she had a test run for breast cancer and she "said I'm worried I'll end up losing my breasts if the results are bad." I paused for a moment then replied "and to think I've spent most my life trying to lose mine." And I'd never seen my sister laugh that damn hard in a while.

You have to be the most thoughtful man on YouTube. Rodney was a classic. When Johnny Carson died, his manager called Rodney’s manager and asked if Rodney could do the Eulogy. His manager said ‘Rodney died 6 months ago’. When I heard that all I could think was him saying ‘See, I get no respect’.

Dangerfield's material never gets old. Pretty sure it wouldn't fly in today's world, but his comedy was pure genius.

Don Rickles and Rodney Dangerfield are two American classics that make you laugh every time you hear them.

Thank you for making day with laughter . I'm so tired of being frustrated with what's going on with the world today. 🥰❤

I worked for a customer the other day and when I finished the guy asked me...'' I'll call the lady in your office and get the total
amount of the bill ''....I replied...." she's no lady she's my wife. " Rodney Dangerfield is a comic genius!

THe man is doing a comedy routine, not telling his life story. So enjoy without guilt.

"This man just goes around telling us all his problems and hardships and we just laugh" I'm dying!!!!

Thanks, Van... I really needed that today. 🤗

In the front row were:

George HW Bush (Sr.) and his wife Barbara (red dress)
He was Reagan's VP

President Reagan and his wife Nancy

Tip O'Neill and his wife Mildred (you asked if she was his mother)
Tip was Speaker of the House at the time

The fact that the camera turned right to Tip during the drinking joke made it even funnier because Tip was known to "tipple" a bit. LOL

Just found your channel a few weeks ago, and trying to catch up. I just watched your reaction video to Paul Harvey's "If I were the devil" and it truly was a bit scary. If you haven't heard it yet, ya gotta listen to his "So God made a farmer." It's epic. Keep up the incredible work!!

Rodney! 🙌🏼😁 He has a hilarious movie called Back To School. He plays a rich business owner who wants his son to go to college since he himself never did. So, to convince his reluctant son to go, he said he’d go to college too. Hilarity ensues

I love how the camera went to Tip O'Neil after the drinking joke.😄

He's such a legend. I absolutely love how funny he is without all of the vulgarity. I'm not a prude or anything, I love crude jokes too, but he's just a masterclass excellent jokes you can share with pretty much anyone.

Rodney Dangerfield is hilarious. You should react to a few of his movies: Back to School, Meet Wally Sparks, he was also in Caddy Shack, Lady Bugs, Easy Money, and My 5 Wives.

Just remember, "you'd do it for Randolph Scott". Randolph and Reagan were both Hollywood Actors, around the same era. The comment came form teh Mel Brooks Movie "blazing Saddles". A true MUST WATCH. Randolph's Movies pretty much all portrayed him as the "true blue" type of Cowboy. Real stand-up Guy.
