The film is even better than I remembered after having recently rewatched it, knowing I loved it as a kid when it was released in 2004. The script is really well structured too, and I admire how the story portrays both sides of the war fairly. This film (as is the case when comparing superior films of previous decades to neo-modern trash films nowadays) is a testament to how arts and entertainment was comparatively more intelligent and wholesome merely 10 or 20 years ago, whereas now, most movies and music reflect the darkness and degenerate dumbed down degradation of modernism's effect, and if you want a good movie, look to the past few decades compiled works of many genres.

I despise this film for no homoing Achilles and Patroclus but I have to admit part of me still does love it. The soundtrack is so good!

Wow, at minute 29:10, the music during the destruction of Troy is just perfect!!! The violins, trumpets, and drums create an amazing combination. The melody, rhythm, and harmony are so well done. You can really feel the sorrow of destruction in the context of the action music. It's an outstanding piece of work. It gives me such goosebumps!!!

For me the great things about Mr.James Horner music..
Is some of the music cue in one movie, similiar to his other movies he's score..
