Watchdog concerned about Vodafone-Three merger

Tens of millions of mobile phone users could end up paying more if the merger between Vodafone and Three goes ahead, the competition watchdog has warned.

The merger would create the UK's biggest mobile network and could also improve network quality, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) said.

A decision on the deal is expected in December.

Three has always been a rubbish company. From wiki,
Three UK is an indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary of CK Hutchison Holdings, a limited liability Cayman Islands company registered and listed in Hong Kong.

I live in a tiny seaside town with terrible signal in winter and it only gets worse as the place fills up with tourists in the summer, yet I pay the same price for my service as someone who gets excellent coverage in a city! Who investigating their license to rip me off?

The networks have been getting worse since the number of operators have reduced. Why would going from 4 to 3 operators make it better!!! It’s obvious competition would reduce.
